As an ITRT, I fit under the umbrella of instructional coaching. My job is to coach teachers in ways to use instructional technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.

• Co-taught with special education teachers in a collaborative classroom• Helped initiate a new behavior modification plan used by the entire 8th grade team• Differentiated instructions for multiple learning levels• Prepared lessons for whole group and small group math and reading based on multiple student learning levels• Initiating “HRES Bubba Mug Club” to encourage faculty and staff to drink the appropriate amount of water daily to promote healthier living• Communicated with parents/guardians frequently to promote a strong home-school connection in setting up students for success

• Designed projects with real-life connections to incorporate 21st Century skills in order to prepare students for college and the adult world as part of PBL• Lead a committee and planned a field day for more than 600 students• Differentiated instruction for multiple learning levels• Practiced Gradual Release model• Coached as assistant girls basketball coach• Taught 6th grade math and 7th grade math in summer school• Modified instruction for the 21st Century Grant After School Program teaching Pre-Algebra• Instructed students in guitar lessons during the 21st Century Grant After School Program• Worked with the Cortez Math program and I Can Learn Math program
