I have a real passion for the work we do across the Queensland Government. I am genuinely driven by a desire to see system improvement and enhancement across portfolios and aim to support the advancement of a collaborative, diverse, creative, and accountable workforce. For me, directing an effective, efficient, and high-performing portfolio is just the beginning; it's the foundation that enables the growth and development of both the workforce and the programs we deliver.With a rich background in developing and enhancing teams, work practices, and strategic direction, my experience spans a broad spectrum of environments and portfolios. This includes my current role as Director of the Office for Youth and extends to a variety of strategic roles including Executive Officer for the Deputy Director-General of Environmental Services and Regulation (ESR), A/Manager of the Utilities and Government Organisations (UGO) assessment team and successful delivery as Product Owner of the $23M EA Simplification Project. My achievements extend beyond the public sector, including a decade of managing over 500 staff annually at the Splendour in the Grass Music Festival. I am excited to continue shaping a brighter future for Queensland and its dynamic communities.
