As a Design Engineer for the Montana Department of Transportation in the Billings District, my primary function was to prepare engineering plans, cost estimates, specifications, and schedules for various projects. I prepared informational briefings and training presentations for external meetings (e.g., public meetings, landowners, local government, ect.) and internal meetings. I ensured the safe, cost-effective and timely completion of all projects to meet or exceed targeted delivery dates.

As a Road Designer for the Montana Department of Transportation in the Billings District, my primary function was to prepare engineering plans, cost estimates, specifications, and schedules for various projects. I reviewed draft designs, specifications, cost estimates, and prepared written comments for the design project manager. I prepared alternate designs and performed analysis of economic benefit/cost analysis.

As a Drafter II for the Montana Department of Transportation in the MSU Design Unit, my primary function was to prepare engineering plans, cost estimates, specifications, and schedules under the direction of a senior engineer. I created culvert rating curves and used HEC-RAS to design a channel relocation of a creek. I wrote technical reports using data, research, and field investigations.
