I have spent several years working in the UAE as a Science teacher, leader, and University and Career Counselor, with extensive experience in IGCSE, MYP, and IBDP programs. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Leadership in Education at the British University of Dubai and serve as the Head of the Science Department and Career and University Counselor at Dar AlMarefa School in Dubai.My leadership style is transformational, focusing on inspiring and motivating my team and students to achieve their fullest potential. From January 2016 to July 2024, I led the Science Department, elevating its performance from “Acceptable” to “Good” in MYP and from “Good” to “Outstanding” in DP. I am committed to creating a collaborative and inclusive environment that aligns with the school’s vision of fostering excellence and innovation. In addition to leading the department, I am an IBDP examiner and workshop leader with the International Baccalaureate, which allows me to integrate global best practices into our curriculum and enhance our educational programs. As a University and Career Counselor, I guide students through application processes and career planning, organize international trips, and coordinate workshops and local and international university fairs. My efforts are aligned with the school’s mission to prepare students for future success and to broaden their global perspectives.My leadership approach and commitment to aligning with the school’s vision and mission ensure that we drive meaningful change and create a positive, impactful learning environment.
