Learning Apprentice - Young People Skill'S Programme (16-25)

•Supported on-going programme of events and activities created & run by young people, for young people, enabling positive participation of young people in museum projects. •Deliver creative workshops supporting them to learn new skills and understanding from the museum collection. This will include recruitment, training and mentoring. •Collaborated on YPSP communication plans including, building relationships with youth organisations & key partners. This includes verbal or written presentation of my work in and outside of LTM as well as responsibility for running the young people email account and social media activity.•Worked with a variety of audiences including schools, families and adults from different backgrounds.•Qualified Bronze, Silver and Gold Arts Award advisor•Completed Level 3 cultural and Venues operation qualification as well as a Gold Arts Award•Creative and Cultural Skills 2016 Apprentice of the year nominee•Presented at CC skill conference and delivered workshop sharing Gold Arts Award best practice with organisations looking to explore the qualification. This included a Virtual Reality tour that I produced with TWIG for a Google Expedition app about ' A day in the life of an apprentice'•Worked closely with the Curatorial, Marketing, Public Programmes and Visitor Services teams to engage a wide range of audiences and create high-quality public facing outcomes, ensuring that the YPSP is visible and valued by the whole organisation and beyond•Built positive and lasting relationships with a variety of different colleagues in the Museum and beyond to bring new ideas and opportunities for young people, the Museum and its audiences.•Monitored and evaluated activities to measure the impact of the YPSP and •Presented and reported findings to key stakeholders which have included Transport for London, Arts Council England and Google.
