I am a highly motivated and passionate specialist family practitioner, with a particular interest in complex trauma and suicide prevention . I have worked in all aspects of management in the hospitality industry for over 20 years before transferring my skills into the Human services sector. I spent 2 years working within the UHM program with Marist 180 in Sydney and have completed a Bachelor degree in Human services and my TAE for teaching and assessing.I am a qualified swim coach and specialise in teaching children with challenging & complex needs.Recently, i was a part of a co-design committee with NSW Health &BEING to assist with accessibility of supports/ rights for inpatients in mental health facilities-another passion of mine, advocating for vulnerable humans.I am working as an Educator for Tafe Queensland, delivering the Cert 3 in Individual support-Disability.I am an active member of the Townsville SPCAP committee and currently volunteer locally with young women at risk of homelessness.My key driver is for early intervention 🔑
