I have over 4 years of retail experience, and over 2 years in retail management which has given me excellent leadership and customer service skills. I love working with my team to provide excellent customer service and quality advice on outdoor apparel. I love working in an industry that deals with peoples passions in the outdoors. I am particularly interested about empowering women in this field. I am a host for the hiking community Galz Gone Wild in Co. Cork, where I host community hikes and events connecting women in the outdoor community. I am an avid hiker myself, and general lover of the outdoors. In 2023, I completed the Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal, which was my first high altitude trek. Since then I have completed my Mountain Skills 1 & 2 (which involves learning to navigate through the mountains during the day, at night and in difficult terrain.) I have also completed my Remote First Aid Qualification (REC3), which enables me to provide first aid when help is far away. I am an avid trail and road runner, having completed my first half marathon in 2024, with plans of completing a marathon in the next year.
