Author and Publisher

I am a published author & public speaker. I have four published works. ORDINARY HEROES ANECDOTES OF VETERANS is a collection of true stories told by U.S. military veterans. THE ODYSSEY Of CLYDE THE CAMEL is a whimsical humorous travelogue told through the eyes of a stuffed camel. THE GHOST OF SAREY JANE is a Southern Gothic novel. It's a 20th Century Romeo & Juliet tale with a touch of Macbeth and To Kill a Mockingbird. I also co-authored a book that is published under the author's name, Felicia McCranie. It's entitled THE LONG JOURNEY and is an inspirational biography that tells of a woman's search for redemption from a life of desperation and desolation I founded my own publishing company, Chamber Court Publishing. I assist writers in producing professional-quality books at affordable prices. In my public speaking I do readings from my books at schools, libraries and community groups and also give motivational talks, covering topics such as how to get started with writing and achieving your potential. When I'm not at my computer typing away, I enjoy travel, photography, listening to music, among other activities. I'm a film buff and enjoy movies in just about any genre, as long as they have a captivating plot, interesting characters and good acting.

I edit and proofread manuscripts and other written works.

I write articles for the Hernando Sun, a weekly newspaper.

I write feature articles for The Mountain Eagle in upstate New York and also sell advertising for that paper.

I wrote and edited articles and information for chamber of commerce magazines and guides.
