I am a self-motivated Finance Professional with 20+ years experience in Financial Services. My qualifications include a BA(Hons) Degree in Accounting and Finance, a Diploma in Financial Advice(QFA), Certificate in Credit & Lending and, in 2019, I completed a Professional Diploma in Banking Risk Management Practices.I have excellent people management experience, managing three teams, with 26 staff and 6 direct reports. I am passionate about the work I do but even more so devoted to cultivating a positive and efficient team environment.I have strong credit skills and extensive experience in risk management, operating to high quality standards in a highly regulated sector. My position as Senior Manager in BOI enabled me to develop my decision making and problem solving skills further as well as my planning and organisational skills. I successfully completed several significant projects for the credit department including Project Eden (increasing the unit's lending threshold from £300k to £500k), set up of a new Business Direct Team in Northern Ireland to enable business loan applications to be made over the phone and, the Robotics Project, a number of manual tasks were taken over by the robotic team, improving quality, efficiency and reducing costs. I am organised, work well under pressure and I am fully committed to every undertaking. In June I was delighted to join Permanent TSB as Senior SME Manager in the Retail Credit Centre. I received a very warm welcome from my new colleagues and I am excited to be part of the bank's journey to grow the SME book whilst continuing to deliver an excellent customer service and connecting with our local communities.
