I took on many different areas of responsibility in order to make sure that our 4000+ international students receive a world class educational experience across 13 campuses, in four towns and cities around the UK. I oversaw the following areas:Internal Quality Assurance; creating and maintaining recording procedures for all student assessments and implementing a standardisation policy across all summer school campuses. This includes ensuring all teachers comply with the recording and standardisation process, as well as leading a team who proofread student reports.Teacher recruitment; devising the recruitment strategy for over 150 teaching staff. This included making the interview process more thorough, improving the method of recording throughout the hiring process, and conducting interviews.Scholarships process; devising a strategy for the selection of scholarship winners from a pool of nearly 1000 applicants and leading a team of ad hoc staff to ensure the winners are selected fairly and on time.Booking facilities; ensuring that sufficient classrooms are booked for all lessons, maintaining relationships with external sites, signing contracts and processing invoices. Event Planning; I oversaw the planning our Great Debates, which take place in leading Oxford Venues throughout the summer. This involved booking the venues, selecting the guest speakers, devising the format of the events and liaising with venue staff at the event.
