About Sarah Pan

I am a fifth-year graduate student at the University of Minnesota, in progress of obtaining a PhD in Developmental Psychology with the Institute of Child Development. I work with Dr. Michele Mazzocco to study children's cognitive development and early numeracy. I am interested in exploring how early childhood educational materials, processes, and experiences with parents and teachers affect the development of one’s number skills and formal math ability.I have experience with behavioral coding, coding and analysis of educational materials, and statistical analysis with programs like R. I have managed and collaborated with various research teams in collecting, coding, and writing up data. I have also condensed complex research into cohesive narratives, manuscripts, and presentations.
