Drawing on her experience working within the design industry in London, Interlandi Mantesso was Sarah's first experience of the Australian market. Working as a contractor gave Sarah the opportunity to work with a team of passionate and talented Architects and Interior Designers, whilst finding her feet in a new country.

Founded in 1993 by Linda Morey Smith, the practice has an extensive portfolio of commercial, workplace, development, leisure and residential projects. With a strong mission statement, focusing on delivering beautifully designed projects which reflect and embody the client, their brand ethos and needs, Sarah spent over 2 years working with like minded and passionate designers to deliver environments where people love to work. Sarah was involved in the delivery of projects for a number of high profile clients such as Arup, Sony Music, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Vizeum to name but a few. Her experience of working with such an energetic team of talented designers paved the way for the following years, tackling an new and unfamiliar industry in Melbourne, Australia.

As part of the Nottingham Trent University Interior Architecure 'sandwich' course Sarah competed with 40+ peers for coveted positions at a small number of design firms for 12 months of intensive, on the job training durning the third year of a 4 year course. Securing a job with Straight Impact and working within a small team, Sarah was involved in the design and delivery of projects for high profile clients such as Tony & Guy and Headmasters hair salons.
