OBC is a government recognized through the Ministry of Higher Education in the province of British Columbia school that has over 40 years of history with many alumni serving God in His Kingdom in all facets of ministry and vocation. In recent years through a variety of circumstances OBC has divested itself of its brick and mortar campus. While this may seem like a step backwards, in God’s providence we now realize that this has become one of our greatest advantages. Without a physical campus we feel that we can seriously address the issues of financial cost, flexibility and accessibility for so many students who desire to pursue or complete their theological degree. Through partnerships with other organizations that share the same vision, OBC can now offer high quality theological education through online lectures. We combine these lectures with a system of educational mentorship in conjunction with local churches and clusters of students, ie. satellite campuses. This has resulted in the delivery of excellence in teaching from dozens of highly qualified professors as well as hands on mentorship and support by our approved Educational Mentors working in partnership with local churches. OBC is stepping into a new horizon of education that would allow ANY student interested in pursuing the work of the ministry to have the opportunity. As a school we believe that theological education and quality biblical learning should be made accessible not just for those called into ministry but for anyone who seeks to live out the life of a disciple in whatever vocational role God has called them to.
