Led the creation and design of the Portfolio Management (“PM”) department for bp’s T&S business. Deliverables include:• Developing PM vision and subsequent strategy framework, team structure and roadmap to achieve it.• Design and launch of the PM Data Insights Tool, a suite of interactive dashboards, enabling comprehensive data interrogation for improved decision-making. This has not previously been achieved. Programme of upgrades to strengthen breadth of insights in progress.• Sustainability management: Overseeing the development and execution of T&S’ Sustainability Plan, including Carbon Intensity strategic planning, to advance bp’s net zero goals and ensure alignment with global environmental standards, regulations (e.g. ESRS) and corporate objectives.• Developing bespoke portfolios for strategic management, e.g. overseeing the T&S NOJV Operating Model.• Spearheading ad hoc projects such as T&S strategy progress review.The above requires:• Deep commercial knowledge: Of trading value drivers, strategy and alignment with broader bp objectives• Collaboration: Act as integrator, identifying opportunities for synergies across T&S with other teams• Driving cultural change: Embedding tools, ways-of-working and strategic decision making into our culture• Influencing skills: To foster support and advocacy at group leader levels and drive consistency across T&S• Leadership: Developing hi-po individuals and enabling team to successfully lead projects in an ambiguous environment• Entrepreneurial approach: Requiring self-determination, resilience, flexibility and autonomy

Responsible for managing European Crude Trading bench (c.16 traders, 4 non-trading staff, 4 originators), including:• Lead development of 3-5yr Global Crude Trading Strategy work, in line with bp “Strategic Pillars”;• Crude trading representative for high-profile Marketing & Origination deals, including finance for multi-year offtakes, new country entry and new products and structures;• Responsible for coordinating commercial strategy for the European Crude trading bench, ensuring alignment with deal pipeline and facilitating Functional support;• Managed Crude interfaces with other Commodity benches, Regional Business Managers, M&O and Functional teams and other bp businesses;• Monitored and managed Crude trading activity and business performance;• Drove delivery of cross-commodity opportunities and cross-business value initiatives;• Co-ordinated European Crude portfolio growth strategy, identifying priorities and managing resources;• Promoted a team culture by developing and hosting, with Global Commodity Head, strategy events to enhance knowledge and connectivity for the supporting Functions;• Oversight of talent management process and support of Global Commodity Head and Book Leaders with people management, as well as Line Manage responsibility for non-trading bench staff;• Managed compliance framework to provide assurance that Crude trading risk is mitigated, including setting appropriate trading Delegations of Authority and leading through bp Values & Behaviours

• Lead a team responsible for providing independent, globally aligned, and accurate valuations of trading book position, exposure, working capital, performance data and analysis to facilitate trading execution, control, management reporting, market risk management and compliance;• Responsible for identifying, escalating and mitigating financial, operational and reputation risk related to trading book positions and exposures;• Developed the team to ensure adequate coverage on the portfolio, build knowledge base and abilities across individuals and support them in their future bp careers;• Provided support for entering/exiting new instruments/markets and growth/contraction of existing business via effective due diligence

• Deal team for the following transactions:-Buyside advisory mandate for c.€1bn offshore services company;-Sellside advisory mandate for Middle East privatisation of 3 container handling companies (c.€850m); -Refinancing of syndicated debt facility including export credit finance for a European cruise company;-Debt financing for purchase of Regent Seven Sea Cruises by Apollo Management;• Production of transaction and marketing pitch books, valuation/cashflow models and debt/capital structure analysis on a portfolio of global maritime companies

• Transaction team member for the refinance/exit of a number of high-profile restructurings;• Performed credit analysis and prepared of strategy papers on distressed relationships;• Assisted senior relationship managers with the management of a portfolio of high risk/sensitive corporate accounts
