Facilities Management Coordinator
CurrentProvide Facilities Management specialist expert advice in developing and resourcing operational plans and budgets that effectively and sustainably manage the City’s Community Facilities portfolio, such that the facilities meet the needs of the Tenants and Community users in being safe, fit for purpose, well maintained and clean.Keep abreast of changing regulatory environment, provide expertise advice into the Facilities Management policy and adapt processes as necessaryRegularly review the holistic performance of the portfolio against industry benchmarks and Asset Management Plans to ensure service levels and operating costs are within acceptable levels.Prepare, monitor and report on financial performance of programs. Regularly update forecasts and budgets and make recommendations for service level improvements and cost reductions.Prepare, monitor, manage and report on energy and water consumption budgets and forecasts and identify opportunities to improve the City's environmental footprint, through replacement of infrastructure, plant & equipment, modifying operational processes, and staff training.Provide specialist support to other stakeholders on energy/water consumption analysis and reportingProcure and manage the Energy Supply Contract for contestable sites and monitoring contracts.Provide FM expert specialist advice to work with the other stakeholders in deploying and reporting actions arising from the Sustainable Environment Strategy as it relates to area of responsibilityRecruit, develop, mentor and performance manage staff. Ensure they all appropriately skilled and trained, and have a clear and concise knowledge of their role and responsibilities.Promote employee health and wellbeing at all timesProvide specialist expert advice to staff on all procurement planning, including in the preparation and evaluation of formal Tenders & Quotes, to ensured best value for money is attained.
