I am a residential counselor at the Chase Home. I work with teenage residents on a weekly basis, seeking out their needs and making sure their requirements are being met. I am responsible for enforcing rules, but also manifesting a respectful home environment for the children. I assist them with homework, job searches and questions, as well as speak with them about their frustrations. I thoroughly enjoy interning there, and I have just accepted a part time job offer over the summer.

I am currently a teacher's assistant for a child development class. I am responsible for holding review sessions, answering questions, and helping students with projects and exams. I meet with my advisor about twice a month to discuss our work and things that need to be done. I am pursuing another Teacher's assistant position with this professor in the fall of 2019.

I have been with this restaurant for almost 4 years now. I began as hostess, was also trained as a busser, and now I am currently a server, training to be a bar tender. I have made my way up the latter over the past 4 years. I have shown that I am a responsible, reliable employee by never calling out, working on my days off, and picking up shifts for coworkers. Three major skills I have gained from serving is the ability to multitask, work quickly, and remember a number of things at once. I work cooperatively with all staff and make team efforts to improve the functioning of the restaurant and the customers experiences.
