Hello, I'm so glad you're here! Let me introduce myself! My name is Sarah Pitz I just graduated from Western Oregon University where I graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Actor Training and a minor in writing. My goal is to use my creativity and writing skills to become an producer as well, as still acting.My love for literature started at a very young age. Literature has been one of my passions for over 10 years. I worked very hard to excel at it and it paid off! I have been acting/writing since me Junior year of High School. I decided on theatre when I got accepted into the Summer Seminar for High School Juniors! This is where I went down to Southern Oregon University to learn about Shakespeare! This program made me realize what I want to do with the rest of my life! The year following that I started Acting in productions and writing! My senior project was to write/Direct a play for my classmates! I actually, ended up bring this piece to State at the Oregon Thespian convention! Since, then I have written more plays that bring awareness to social issues. My main writing is comedy since I love to make people laugh. Throughout my time in college I was heavily involved in my theatre department. I work for publicity which entails me making graphic designs posts and interacting with multiple people. This job has also made me a Podcast Host for my theatre's department podcast! This was a way for all of us to be connected during the beginning of the pandemic. However, expanding my love for theatre didn't stop there. I also work in the scene shop where I have built the sets for many shows. This entails leadership and safety since we always have to be looking out so we can do our job safely! I enjoy all aspects of theatre and I want to explore all of them from acting, creating, and designing as well!Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and please reach out!
