In addition to my enthusiasm for science, I have 25 years of microbiology experience. This includes teaching laboratory courses, authoring and editing scientific procedures, conducting research in the academic environment and working in biopharmaceutical Quality Control laboratories. My career has provided me an ability to take a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving. My participation in the accreditation process of a Health Families America evidenced-based home visitation program provided me another level of awareness of the impact research can have on improving outcomes.
