Hi! I'm a senior web developer whose experiences over the past decade of work range across the stack. Whether building eCommerce at scale, bespoke SaaS apps with > 70% automated test coverage, or cultivating institutional expertise with cutting-edge software development practices, I combine a passion for technology, sustainability, and accessibility together to bring a people-centered, fault-tolerant approach to building systems and services. While I primarily work with Javascript or Typescript, I also love using tried-and-true frameworks like Express, Rails, or Django - I adore writing Ruby (especially DragonRuby), and am currently tinkering with Elixir, Perl, and Nix. I'm well-versed with creating and debugging developer workflows with Github, Gitlab, on cloud platforms such as Digital Ocean, Azure, and AWS.In terms of front-end workflows, I've shipped everything from React to jQuery, for the the last decade and a half, ranging in scale from experimental prototypes to internationalized checkouts processing hundreds of thousands of dollars a year (amongst other currencies). I love any and all types of CSS & its pre-processors (especially PostCSS and TailwindCSS), and have a strange inclination to enjoy debugging webpack, parcel, and other front-end compilers/build processes.I'm at my most productive with a stable and diverse team, supportive managers, and a problem to solve that's about more than just ROI. I like building things for real people, that has a positive impact in their lives.
