In my role as Youth Engagement Support at Multicultural Youth Affairs Network (MYAN) NSW in Sydney, I support young individuals with forcible displacement and migration experiences. Through outreach, case management, and group work, I empower them to overcome challenges and become active members of Australian society.

I worked with Unions NSW to promote and deliver various campaigns in key locations. Thisinvolved assisting the campaigns team to create engagement and promotional materials includingsocial media posts, emails, and phone calls. I also organised and lea pop-up stalls onweekends, implementing outreach strategies including making phone calls and responding toenquiries. My strong attention to detail contributed to successful delivery of campaigns.

As a Customer Service Specialist, I provided exceptional customer care by recommending products and customising shopping experiences to meet each customer's unique needs. With proficiency in operating POS systems, I ensured smooth transactions and seamless customer interactions. My approach combined patience and problem-solving skills to thrive in challenging situations, maintaining composure under pressure over the busy Christmas period. I collaborated closely with team members to uphold efficient store operations and contribute effectively towards achieving sales targets.

During my internship with the Sydney Alliance, I actively participated in the People Seeking Asylum campaign, collaborating with a diverse team of interns from various cultural and religious backgrounds. Together, we tackled critical issues in Sydney, including social isolation, work rights, education provider regulations, housing, evictions, welfare, and wellbeing. I engaged in relational meetings, listening campaigns, and online meetings, applying mid-range community organising theory and practice to analyse relational power dynamics and facilitate small group discussions. Additionally, I played a role in completing administrative tasks and organising assemblies and research action meetings, fostering transparent internal communication channels with key staff members at the Sydney Alliance.
