This lab investigates neuropeptide release in the brain and develops genetically encoded detectors for neuropeptide release based on class B G-protein coupled peptide receptors. Applying and developing optical biosensors for real time imaging of neuropeptide release, with a focus on GLP-1 and CRF.Tasked with cell culturing and transfection, protein purification, and molecular cloning in cells.

Designed public speaking lesson plans in which I specialized in teaching the fundamentals of speech and debate and mathematics to K-12 students.

Worked 8am-3pm every Sunday at Matawan Regional Highschool. Instructed students ranging ages 7-16 on topics including Arabic grammar, islamic studies, and prophetic biography.
