    About the Smart Campaign: In 2009, the Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion (CFI) joined with industry leaders to launch the Smart Campaign, a global campaign to embed client protection into the DNA of the financial inclusion industry. The Smart Campaign works globally to create an environment in which financial services are delivered safely and responsibly to low-income clients. As the world’s first financial consumer protection standard, the Campaign maintains a rigorous certification program, elevates the client voice, and convenes partners to effect change at the national level. Over 100 financial institutions, collectively serving more than 42 million people, have been certified for adhering to the Campaign’s consumer protection standards.Responsibilities: Run global operations for a team of 10 staff members, over 15 project consultants located in various countries. This includes: • Preparing and monitoring the Campaign’s $2.3 million annual budget • Managing global reporting, monitoring and evaluation • Hiring/onboarding new staff and monitoring staff morale • Liaising with the Campaign’s oversight committee, which includes organizing two in-person meeting per year• Drafting and overseeing contracts and ensuring consultants meet key project deliverables • Overseeing the implementation of the Campaign’s Certification Program, including managing pool of accredited trainers, assessors and certification bodies and ensuring policies are up-to-date• Organizing large events on behalf of the Campaign; attending industry conferences and speaking engagements • Working with the Campaign Director to implement fundraising strategy, including the development of technical proposals• Launched earned revenue initiative to help fund the Campaign’s core support functions
