During my Capstone at Bridgeport Hospital's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), I had the opportunity to work closely under the guidance of a nursing preceptor, gaining hands-on experience in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment. My role involved managing complex patient cases, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, and implementing evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes. This experience honed my skills in critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and teamwork, while deepening my understanding of advanced critical care. I am now equipped with a foundation in intensive care nursing and am passionate about continuing to contribute to excellent patient care.

As a Nursing Assistant in the Emergency Department at Stony Brook Southampton, while completing my nursing education, I played a key role in facilitating patient care in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. My responsibilities included obtaining EKGs, measuring vital signs, and supporting various aspects of patient care.
