• Conduct employee counseling, investigations, documentations, and terminations as required• Develop, Interpret and implement policies and procedures throughout organization• Benefits implementation to include open enrollment, question and answer, new hire enrollments, life change enrollments, etc.• Recruiting and interviewing for open positions to include exempt and non-exempt roles• Reporting and monitoring for Human Resources and company metrics• Budget development as part of Human Resources team and budget monitoring• Develop and teach employee and manager training programs throughout the organization to include Performance Management, Hiring, and multiple others• Develop and implement Performance Review system, and drive employee review completion throughout the organization• Develop and implement employee Onboarding system • Compliance review for state and federal laws, to include California and San Francisco employment law compliance• Worker’s Compensation administration and reporting• Supervision and direction of direct report(s) along with indirect reporting staff in remote locations

• Conduct employee counseling, investigations, documentations, terminations as needed• Work with off-site HR team and on-site leadership team to interpret and implement policies and procedures• Assist employees regarding benefits, employment and other HR related issues and questions• Responsible for implementation of all new employee programs at Musictoday including job postings, job offers, pre-employment screenings and paperwork, etc.• Enter and maintain employee information in HRIS systems and time clock systems• Processing payroll and follow-up biweekly• Applicant tracking and correspondence• HR Reporting – new employees, terminations, rosters• Writing and revising policies for Musictoday as needed• Providing guidance to employees and leadership as needed• Active team member with remote HR staff for HR strategic planning and mission• Serve as monthly Activities Committee head for planning and implementation of activities• Ensure compliance of state and federal laws • Provide training for Musictoday employees regarding laws, policies, procedures, and other HR functions• Conduct investigations regarding harassment and other issues as needed

Recruitment for all open positions (exempt and non-exempt) for VMRC; Screening interviews; job offers; Coordination of all pre-employment screenings; Background checks; Conducting New Employee Orientations; Coordination of all new employee trainings; Entering all new employee information in HRB/ADP and other systems; Stay interviews; Exit interviews; Employee counseling; Coordination of all employee transfers, promotions, etc; Turnover reporting; New employee reporting; Reference checks (incoming and outgoing); Internal and external job postings; Job Fairs; Maintaining employee files (current and past); Strategic planning for retention programming; Planning for and assisting with the creation of employee education and supervisor education programming.
