Sarah Schleuning is dedicated to presenting and promoting the power and impact of design to the public through exhibitions, publications, and lectures. As senior curator of decorative arts and design at the Dallas Museum of Art, she curates exhibitions exploring creativity, innovation, and design strategies. Her shows range from contemporary wearable art with Constellations: Contemporary Jewelry at the Dallas Museum of Art, Dior, and Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion exhibitions to the design history of concept cars with Dream Cars: Innovative Design, Visionary Ideas. Schleuning has focused on strengthening the collection specifically in the area of 20th- and 21st-century design.
