Accurate, efficient, and results-driven researcher, data analyst, and statistician. I graduated in 2024 with a PhD in Healthcare Management and Economics at Wharton. I am a graduate of Barnard College, majoring in economics and statistics and minoring in US History. Previous employment includes the Federal Trade Commission and Princeton University. At Princeton University, my research with professors Angus Deaton and Anne Case looked at the spike in morbidity in the middle aged, particularly in the United States. I analyze whether this is a global or national phenomenon and whether the causes of death (alcoholism, substance abuse) correlate with happiness.During my time at Barnard, I undertook several projects to help me recognize my attraction to quantitative research. I wrote a senior thesis on the effectiveness of tort reform policy on the medical malpractice adjudication system. I served a research assistant for professor Joseph Stiglitz, researching Argentina's role in the global Great Depression.I am extremely fluent in R or Stata for statistical analysis. I am also comfortable in SAS and Java.I enjoy fast-paced, research and innovation-driven environments as well as being exposed to big data and challenges. I aspire to work in a field enabling me to apply my statistics and quantitative knowledge and later plan to attend graduate school to pursue degrees in statistics, economics, and public policy.
