I am currently working as a Paramedic with East Midlands Ambulance Service. My current role means I attend a wide range of 999 calls on daily basis, putting all the clinical skills I have gained into practice, this ranges from lead clinician at RTC’s and cardiac arrests to arranging ongoing care for patient’s through various alternative care pathways available. I am always trying to improve my skills set by completing different courses for health care professionals and and maintaining my CPD portfolio. I have spent 13 years in the RAF, as a fire fighter, moving up to crew manager. I have been involved in both major and minor fire and rescue incidents in my career as a fire fighter.I Have many years experience in delivering fire safety lessons to both military and civilian personnel and providing professional fire training scenarios for my crew to carry out. I am trained in CBRN, chemical incidents, major incidents, and have a little experience with radioactive materials.
