I lead the recruitment for the VP Advancement team which is the most successful fundraising program in Australian higher education.Having successfully completed the nation’s first $1 billion fundraising campaign and embarking on the next, my role has a specific focus to significantly expand our team as we enter our next phase of growth. This involves relationship building, talent pipelining, international search, onboarding, training and development and retention.The Division comprises three teams:Major Gifts & Donor RelationsAlumni & Supporter RelationsAdvancement ServicesThe Development team is the largest of the 3 teams and responsible for providing the direction, coordination and management of the fundraising programs for the University, including the annualgiving, major giving and planned giving programs.The Alumni Relations team engages with alumni and the broader community through a wide range of communications, events and engagement programs. The University of Sydney has a community of 360,000 alumni with over 30 alumni associations as well as interstate and international alumni chapters.Advancement Services supports the Division in achieving its organisational goals through the provision of five core services: prospect research and management; gift administration; business insights; customer success and data, reporting and systems.
