Passionate. Curious. Considerate. I have an M.S. in Conservation Biology from Antioch University New England. My thesis was titled, "Rare Macromoth Species Presence and Diversity in Managed Inland Pine Barrens and Heathlands in Western and Central Massachusetts." I am interested in studying invertebrates at the population and landscape scales as potential indicators of habitat integrity and overall biodiversity. I have field and/or lab identification experience with many pollinators (bees, butterflies, moths, wasps, flies, and beetles) and benthic invertebrates (freshwater and salt marsh species). Rare and protected invertebrate species I have worked with include American burying beetles, puritan tiger beetles, White Mountain fritillary butterflies, White Mountain arctic butterflies, and frosted elfin butterflies. I have also participated in surveys of Northern bog lemmings, roseate terns, common terns, other seabirds, bog turtles, and anadromous fish.
