I am excited to graduate from the University of Georgia in the Spring of 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, a minor in Women's Studies, and a certificate in LGBT Studies. Currently, I am working for the University of Georgia Press as a Marketing and Publicity Intern. My responsibilities include managing review copy requests, composing promotional social media posts, and documenting any publicity. I have been actively involved in creating email blasts for upcoming titles, pioneering new organizational systems, and writing a promotional author Q&A article. As someone who is eager to learn about the Publishing industry, I have been so excited about the opportunity to learn firsthand how my University's Press functions. Intensive coursework has strengthened my self-discipline as well as skills, invigorating my proficiency in and passion for writing and editing. Having excelled in food service and retail for the last six years, I am excited to repurpose and refine my communication, organizational, and leadership skills in the publishing field.I am hardworking, motivated, and always a friendly face.
