- Prepare music for adult and family services, co-created creative Yom Kippur afternoon service, managed $6,000 music budget - Rehearse weekly with the volunteer choir; hire and prepare cellist, accompanist, and professional singers

• Write and deliver “sermons-in-song” to teach new music to the congregation, provide new information about “classics,” and broaden the musical vocabulary of congregants through descriptions of liturgical music. • Create and teach new cantillation curriculum for 6th & 7th graders in preparation for b’nai mitzvah tutoring. • Hired first piano accompanist for High Holiday services and coordinated music with him for services. • Teach religious school students ages 3-13; includes tefillah services, beginning Hebrew decoding skills, and music to all grade levels.

• Provided spiritual and emotional support to patients in crisis in the Emergency Department, General Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Pediatrics, PICU, and NICU departments. 2 units completed. • Engaged with a small, yet religiously diverse, peer group to study inter-personal skills, strengthen listening skills, and develop pastoral care skills.

• Co-led services on guitar with the rabbi once a month for Shabbat evening and morning. Planned and coordinated music for High Holiday services.• Taught religious school music to grades K-6; sang holiday songs with students at the local nursing home.

• Created new iTunes music library for residents’ personal use and for preceding Shabbat services. • Visited and developed relationships with residents weekly to reduce their isolation and provide pastoral care. • Led select Friday evening and Saturday morning Shabbat services for approximately 75 residents.

• Compiled a new songbook with the lyrics to a wide variety of Jewish music using Davka for the religious school to use during music classes.• Led monthly Shabbat morning minyan, participated in Friday Kabbalat Shabbat services.

• Responsible for the health and welfare of a cabin of 5th grade girls, supervised daily activities, and helped to create and fun and safe summer atmosphere in the cabin.
