As a research assistant, investigated how romantic relationships are initiated online and the effect of medium on date request production. Administered studies, collected and coded data, and engaged in analysis. Previous work focused on the formation of mental models about algorithms, including the design of experimental protocols to evaluate perceived objectivity and relevance of content-curation algorithms.

As head consultant (Spring 2016, Fall 2015), led course staff of 50 consultants. Provided conceptual and technical support to Python students through individualized tutoring sessions, weekly office hours, and lab sections. Graded assignments and exams.

Taught a one-credit, two-hour weekly course on Python: developed and gave lectures and created challenging supplemental worksheets to improve students’ mastery of Python and object-oriented principles.

Oversaw project-based course on data-driven prototyping techniques. Graded course content and mentored student teams.

Contributed to the next generation monitoring platform for Microsoft private cloud solutions.
