As the Marketing and Communications Representative, I assist in the planning, development, and implementation of communication strategies and activities to support Easterseals Florida communication and marketing efforts in reference to special events, donor recruitment, and donor retention. I am responsible for managing our statewide stewardship calendar, email campaigns, and development of solicitation materials, media lists and relationships, social media and/or advertising for the development team.

• Follow-up after sponsorship is committed to ensure all sponsorship benefits are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.• Oversees all details of the silent and/or live auctions for Wishmaker’s Brunch, Casino Night, and Wishmaker’s Ball. • Serves as liaison for all vendors and partners for internal events.• Serve as lead for wish families for event day for Orlando Internal Events. This includes recruitment, sending itineraries, and being their day-of point of contact.• Works with Volunteer Coordinator and in collaboration with the volunteer chairperson for event to ensure appropriate number of volunteers are recruited and job descriptions are updated for Casino Night & Poker Tournament, Wishmaker’s Brunch, Wishmaker’s Ball, and Walk for Wishes events.

• Increased donations, to the previous year, by 33% during end of year and United Arts campaigns.• Manage entirety of gift process including solicitation, data entry, acknowledgement and creation of stewardship tasks in donor software.• Created and continue to manage “Heart of the REP” monthly donor campaign including stewardship and acquisition campaigns• Develops story ideas for direct mail and social media campaigns

• Create and manage event budgets, timelines, agendas and marketing materials • Solicit cash donations, develop and pitch sponsorship proposals and seek in-kind support• Oversee appropriate donor gift follow-up, including acknowledgement, receipts and fulfillment of donor requests• Organize and manage existing events and develop new events from concept to completion ensuring they operate smoothly and generate maximum revenue and exposure

• Managed donation collection and tracked employee participation for the 2015 Employee Giving Campaign which raised over $70,000. • Ensure fulfillment, execution and customer satisfaction of all experiences sold by working closely with numerous departments. • Work with corporate partners and liaisons to ensure fulfillment of contract obligations for annual golf tournament and gala. • Oversee budget for all Orlando Magic autograph sessions and serve as OMYF representative at these sessions. • Handle online and in-game auctions while monitoring bidding process at every Orlando Magic home game.• Assist with mailings, donation solicitation and coordination of auction volunteers for major foundation fundraising events.

• Led complimentary ticket program which donated over 40,000 tickets to non-profit organizations across the state of Florida. • Managed and fulfilled over 2,000 in-kind donation requests for non-profit organizations, corporate partners, players and staff. • Supervised Reading with the Rays program by overseeing data entry, ticket distribution and customer service inquiries. • Organized on-field clinic involving professional MLB players and trainers and coordinated event volunteers.• Oversaw the 2015 Rays Community Fund Grant application process which donates $100,000 to non-profit organizations. • Developed and nurtured relationships and worked with community partners, vendors, and high profile clientele. • Aided in the planning and execution of community outreach initiatives, including the Rays Up Campaign and MLB initiatives. • Assisted in coordination and execution of team community events, outreach programs and youth baseball clinics. • Tracked and recorded team coverage in the local and national media, as well as on all social media platforms.
