  Worked as a Field Engineer as well as assisting with administrative office work such as logging employee hours and what work had been completed on various projects. As a Field Engineer I created as-builds on CAD (Computer Aided Drafting and Design) and updated these files daily as our Virginia Natural Gas (VNG) projects progressed showing where new, existing and retired gas mains are located in reference to building walls, streets and intersections. When a project was completed I converted the final drawings to a pdf format and combined the drawings with other various information related to the project and sent these files to Virginia Natural Gas. I also used Microsoft Excel to document what work has been completed and when for multiple projects, as well as employee hours. Weekly I created drawings to show what work had been completed the week before and sent the drawings to our corporate office for billing purposes.I was promoted to Project Coordinator and now continue to complete administrative duties such as time entry, and tracking projects for all of our work for Columbia Gas in Virginia. I call in Miss Utility tickets for all new projects and updated tickets as needed until projects are complete, as well as call 3 hours when marks are incomplete. I am also responsible for calling utility companies when underground lines are damaged. I maintain office supplies and order materials as needed. When necessary, I help with routing crews for the next day.
