I'm passionate about the intersection of law and business, and how these fields can shape and protect companies and individuals. My experiences, from studying finance to learning the ropes of small business ownership with my dad, have shown me the vital role that legal and financial systems play in solving real problems.Finance is just a tool for me–the real passion lies in helping people and getting things done, tackling the challenges people face after things go wrong. I want to be the one who rolls up my sleeves to help clean up the messes that are already on the table, using my skills to confront legal and operational issues head-on and make a meaningful impact.I aspire to attend Saint Louis University School of Law to deepen my understanding of the law's role in business. My goal is to use my J.D. to advocate for clients, leveraging my experiences to help them navigate complex challenges.When I'm not in school, instead of doing what I should be doing–like tracking the markets–you'll find me glued to weather models and forecasts. Finance might keep things grounded, but meteorology always has me looking up!

  Supported District Judges behind the scenes in the Clerk's Office, assisting with court operations for the United States District Court, Eastern District of Missouri.• Observed a wide variety of court proceedings in both civil and criminal matters and developed familiarity with the judicial process.• Printed and prepared court transcripts for timely delivery to the Court of Appeals for review.• Responded to requests from federal detention center inmates through processing and mailing out essential prisoner’s rights forms.• Shadowed judicial chambers personnel, U.S. Pretrial Services, U.S. Probation, Federal Public Defenders, Clerk’s Office personnel, and other court-system professionals to develop an understanding of the judiciary.• Performed basic legal, social science, historical, statistical, and other research to support judicial, legal, professional, and/or administrative staff.• Assisted judicial, legal, professional, and/or administrative staff as needed in handling special events, such as naturalization ceremonies, investitures, and community outreach events.• Served as advance staff for both grand and petit juror meetings.Key Projects• Aided in the electronic conversion of 50 years of sealed federal case files, meeting the requisite for essential updates to the CM/ECF system and building renovations.• Reviewed a large archive of case files to determine which should be retained or destroyed.• Managed mail coordination with Juror Services, ensuring the timely refilling of the master wheel of names for federal juror selection, a recurring process every two years.
