Hello, I am a research engineer creating sustainable building materials with the Adept Materials team. While working toward my engineering degree at Northeastern University, I committed myself to a career in sustainable/renewable materials and building design. My interest in sustainability stems from the fact that social equity and environmental justice are important to me and my belief that the two are strongly connected. I was closely involved in the Northeastern University Sustainable Buildings Organization, holding a position on the e-board and attending seminars and networking events. I enjoy hands-on lab work, iterative computer-aided design, and energy/building performance modelling. I take pride in my strong technical writing skills and my ability to see a project through to the end.Outside of work, I can be found running hiking trails around the northeast, skiing, or at the barn with my horses. I am also involved in several online literary publications and lead an online fiction writers group.
