After studying music at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, I’ve had a fantastic time working in the music industry, producing multiple live events for BBC Radio 2 and 3, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra in concert, Courtney Pine's Radio 2 Roadshows at music festivals across Europe, and a series of live world music concerts for BBC World Service. I’ve produced many radio programmes for the BBC including Russell Davies, Katherine Jenkins, Neneh Cherry and Courtney Pine for Radio 2, Jazz Lineup, Jazz on 3 and various documentaries for Radio 3, and a lovely series for Jazz FM with Alison Moyet. Most recently I've Exec Produced Season One of Courtney Pine Global: an international Jazz Podcast.For stage, I’ve written and produced 'Billie & Me', the acclaimed stage show starring Amy Winehouse, Nancy Wilson, Neneh Cherry and others, that premiered at London's Barbican Centre, and subsequently toured the USA. It was nominated for a 'BBC Award for Innovation'. I’ve also produced the sellout hit charity event 'Lynden's Wish' at London's Jazz Cafe, starring Beverly Knight, Ms Dynamite, Omar and June Sarpong.In TV, I’ve worked as a Consultant Development Producer with Indus Television, and Love Productions. In radio the majority of my production work’s been done for Wise Buddah, Classic Arts and Somethin Else.As a pianist and band I’ve held residencies at many high profile locations including The Ritz, The Grosvenor House Hotel, The Conrad Hotel, Chelsea Harbour, Mezzo, Quaglinos and The Meridien, Piccadilly. I've taught piano and music theory for many years and am currently busy teaching locally here in Cornwall, England!
