Label and Formula Validation• Ensures ingredients and formulas are in full compliance with laws and regulations in countries where they are sold within MENA region• Organizes the preparation of labels and ensures they are compliant with labelling rules and regulation in MENA region• Prepares/maintains labelling templates for all countries in MENA region • Provides accurate Arabic translation for marketing text and regulatory requirements• Reviews artworks and makes revisions as required• Prepares accurate label and formula validation reports Internal System and Consultancy • Supports clients to understand elements of food and cosmetics laws, legislation and regulations• Provides regulatory support to clients and answers their inquiries • Ensures that RAQAM‘s scientific and regulatory databases are accurate and up to date• Works as subject matter expert for the regulatory trends to develop awareness and identify opportunities and threats• Develops advanced communication with key government stakeholders to get the required information on specific requests on a timely manner Product Registration• Registers food & cosmetic products in UAE • Supports clients in preparing the required registration documentsHorizon Scanning• Navigates the available governmental and non-governmental channels to get the latest regulatory updates periodically• Develops horizon scanning reports addressing the highlights and potential impact on industry to be able to define heat issues• Updates the current available channels by searching for different new channels for more accurate regulatory updates• Translates the Arabic updates & standards to English • Develops clear comparisons of the new regulatory updates versus current regulations in MENA and versus international regulations
