As a production specialist at Label Industries, I set up and operate an automatic screen printing press for apparel printing, requiring precision and attention to detail. I also train and manage other employees on the press, demonstrating my communication and leadership skills. In the past three years, I have worked on multiple projects for small businesses, creating logos and merchandise that reflect their brand identity and vision.My passion for good design and making the world more beautiful stems from my background in fine art. I graduated from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis with a BFA in Printmaking in 2014, where I learned the fundamentals of aesthetics, design guidelines, and problem solving. I have also been developing my skills in digital media, taking online courses on user experience (UX) design and completing several certifications. I am eager to apply my design and digital media skills to the tech field, where I can have a more impactful and meaningful role in product design or UX/UI design. I thrive in fast-paced environments, work well with a team, and value efficiency and quality in my work.
