I attended Metropolitan Community College and earned an associates degree in interior design. While obtaining my degree I had the privilege to be a design consultant and sales rep for Sunderland Brothers Tile company. I got to meet everyone from contractors, homeowners, designers, and installers alike. With that company I was able to develop relationships with those in the field. One of those relationships was with the designers at Interiors by Joan. I had the great privilege to work as a junior designer. It was an incredible experience with a fantastic team. Although being an interior designer was a dream, Covid hit in 2020 while I was pregnant with our first daughter. I decided to leave the design field and take on being a stay at home mom to our now 4 and 2 year old daughters. Being able to watch them grow and change before my eyes has been a complete blessing, and I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. I am grateful beyond measure to get to stay home with my kids, as I know that isn’t an opportunity every parent gets. I am grateful now to run my own interior design business while enjoying my small kiddos. I would be happy to help you or someone you know with their next full service design project!
