I am all about passion. Passion for my clients. Passion for data, logic, structure, and accountability. Passion for completing a complex project that results in an outstanding outcome. Maintaining that level of passion and dedication requires substantial energy and perseverance. I am fortunate to be wired with an abundance of energy and optimism. I was a highly competitive collegiate athlete while completing my degree in Economics. My reputation and my commitment mirrored what friends said about me – “You’re always running!” And I was. I was running to get faster, to get stronger. I wasn’t gifted with exceptional natural ability. I had to create it. That commitment has followed and served me well in my professional career.Along with energy, my passions are fueled by challenges. Deadlines that seem unattainable. Competing priorities (or personalities) that appear destined to guarantee failure. Intricate interdependencies that threaten to grind a project to a halt. My career has been stacked with these types of invigorating, character-building trials. I’ve been able to face and overcome these challenges with a wicked combination of tenacity, optimism, collaboration, and resourcefulness.In my world, passion requires one final ingredient – fun. I strive to make every moment possible fun and invigorating. At work, with family and friends, or when I’m supporting our community, I find ways of making everything I do rewarding and exuberant. I hold true to something Oprah Winfrey once said, “If you really want to fly, just harness your power to your passion.”
