I am a Cyber Defense Operations Supervisor at the US Air Force, where I lead a team of cyber defenders to protect the Air Force's networks and systems from cyber threats. I have a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and an Associate of Science in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. My core competencies include cybersecurity, security controls, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and customer support.In my previous role as a Level II SOC Analyst at DefendEdge, I monitored security events and alerts, triaged and responded to incidents, conducted threat analysis, documented and updated security procedures, escalated issues to higher-tier teams, and provided customer support. I applied my skills and knowledge in cybersecurity, security controls, threat and vulnerability management, and CompTIA certifications (CySA+, PenTest+, and Network+) to deliver high-quality security services to clients. I am motivated by the challenge and responsibility of protecting critical assets and data from cyberattacks, and I value teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
