Researched and drafted a response to a Request for Evidence for a VAWA I-360, questioning whether a marriage during removal proceedings was in good faith. Researched, collected evidence, and prepared appeal of a denial of a VAWA I-360, based on a failure to show good moral character. Researched, prepared evidence, and drafted brief to support an asylum application.

Legal Intern in Immigration Law Unit. Represented non-detained immigrants facing removal for criminal convictions. Succeeded on a motion to terminate in front of an Immigration Judge, following a Fleuti hearing, and filed for naturalization for a client in removal proceedings for the previous five years. File a motion for prosecutorial discretion for a client with no other relief options, which was granted by the Department of Homeland Security.
