I am a recognised and passionate specialist in neurodiversity and a vocal advocate for mandatory ADHD screening in the criminal justice system and schools. My charity ADHD LIBERTY is the first in the world to initiate screening for ADHD in police stations. I run the biggest team of ADHD-diagnosed counsellors in the UK - HEADSTUFF ADHD THERAPY. HOW NOT TO KILL THE SPIRIT IN ADHD KIDS’ I am a frequent Keynote Speaker, Expert Court Witness and media expert on neurodiversity issues - specifically ADHD and all the comorbidities ie dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and the physical coexisting conditions. I work closely with the numerous police forces, prisons, probations, youth offending services, homeless and addiction services where ADHD is at its most prevalent. A simple screener can transform somebody’s life and it doesn’t cost anything! I have seen how screening for ADHD reduces reoffending, reduces suicides in prison, reduces self-harm in prison and is transformational for children finding out why they struggle in school.
