I have over 8 years of experience in serving survivors of abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking. I am passionate about advocating for victims and connecting people and resources to empower survivors to create a more just community. I have collaborated with local, state, and federal law enforcement to bring justice to victims of trafficking and have seen the restoration that is possible when community agencies work together for the benefit of the most marginalized. As a direct result of my work with survivors I founded VINE & BEE, a social enterprise that empowers survivors of abuse and exploitation by providing a supportive community, meaningful work, and economic independence. We cultivate flowers and herbs to create natural products for the body, home, and garden, and donate a portion of sales to local survivors of trafficking and exploitation.I have also co-chaired the ERASE Coalition, a network of organizations and individuals committed to raising awareness and driving change in the fight against human trafficking on the South Coast of New England. I have offered trainings to a variety of agencies, coordinated awareness events, and helped connect local service providers and community stakeholders. In addition to anti-trafficking work, I have served also served as Co-Pastor of Acoaxet Chapel in Westport, MA, where it was my privilege to bring a message of hope while counseling and helping people discover their true identity as children of God.
