• Responded to the FPR recommendations, a departmental wide reform agenda by writing a strategy to develop a program aligning the FPR intent to build people capability in Leadership, management and performance management to contribute to creating a high performance culture. The strategy included an innovative approach in leadership and management using neuroscience as the foundation of the program as well as inclusivity of the expertise within the organisation. • Drove a key initiative, which was a whole of organisation large-scale communication and skilling program. These programs will be delivered to senior leaders in all three services across Australia reaching over 17,000 staff with direct reports.• The Senior Leader Program was successful implemented in January 2017 and was rollout across the department. • The development and implementation of the program will contribute to a more effective performance management framework and inevitably a sustainable cultural change across Defence• The SLG pilot Program was successfully conducted on 19 January 2017 and rollout to over 300 senior leaders from April 2017 meeting the organisations objectives and timeframes for the FPR.• Built People capability in Project Management and developed Project Management framework for project managers delivering on HR Reform initiatives. • Increased visibility for senior leaders and developed sustainable tools for defence.

Project Manager/Program Manager• National Incident Response (NIR) Manager - Project Manager. Undertook a business improvement review relating to incident response and preparedness. Experts from the AFP were engaged to assist with the Incident Management System enhancement. Recommendations were implemented which enhanced the department’s ability to respond to national and international disasters and human health emergencies. • Change management was successfully implemented across the branch.• Managed the operational responsibilities of the Australian National Focal Point under the International Health Regulations Business Manager• Managed the enterprise bargaining process on behalf of National Mental Health Commission and participated in high level meetings on behalf of the CEO in relation to the enterprise bargaining agreement with the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC), CPSU and the Department of Health• Advised and consulted with internal and external stakeholders on compliance with legislation, guidelines and process.• Initial draft of the employment agreement was cleared through the APSCExecutive Corporate Services/Business Services• Provided leadership/management during times of change and uncertainty from 20-80 staff • Undertook business improvement and implemented reform• Contributed to the creation of the Corporate Services Centre• Advise, liaise, consult with internal and external stakeholders on compliance with legislation, policy and departmental process.•Assisted in the development of Portfolio Agencies MoU, whilst taking into consideration the complexity in aligning the delivery of Corporate Services to agencies not governed under the PGPA Act 2013.
