Looking to work on big productions with a diving clientele and be part of an experienced team, I found a great match at The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Taking customers’ hands from first check to final event production gives me the opportunity to sell, plan and deliver a customized and unforgettable experience. In addition to my day-to-day work as part of the sales team, I assist our Marketing Manager with research and strategies to attract and optimize new B2B customers.

As part of the opening team of La Nostra Gigi I was lucky to be closely involved in the rebranding proces of the business. Hereby I supported executive management pre-opening on marketing and sales strategy decisions. I set up the reservation system, designed to maximize revenue and visits. After opening I handled all group bookings, organised (brand) events and focused on maintaining relationships with sponsors and PR contacts.

During my time at No Rules my responsibilities moved from front to back of house. With this transition I put earlier experiences to use to form a bridge between the different departments. As reservations manager I handled all group- and event requests and briefed managers on duty. In addition I took care of customer service and made sure the website was representative and up to date.

As floormanager my responsibilities expanded and my focus was to lead the team and help them deliver their best work. Hereby I acted as point of contact during day to day business, handled complaints and attended management meetings.

Starting at No Rules I covered different positions, such as waitress, passe runner and bartender. We had different trainings on service, food concept and wine knowledge. Aiming to suggest and advice guests properly, delivering great service.

After working at Winkel 43 for two years I was given the opportunity to be in charge of the social media account of the cafe. From here I took on more accounts and helped create and plan online content, establish and realise strategy for the online presence of a brand in connection to business objectives. In order to gain more hands on experience in the event industry, I decided to extend my bachelors with an internship. At Rewind Amsterdam I learned a lot about the practical use and advantages of different types of marketing channels, advertising and how to adjust strategy to real-time sales. I was in charge of content planning and copywriting for different brands of the company, which gave me the freedom to put my creativity to use.

As a shiftleader I had financial responsibilities as well as managerial duties. It was my task to give employees their tasks for the day and make sure these are carried out properly, while I am working the floor myself as well. Therefore having an overview and giving instructions were key.

Winkel 43 is my first full-time employer where I learned a lot about hospitality, working in a team and communication. My range of tasks was broad and I got a change to improve and continue to grow within the business. I held several positions being: waitress, runner, barista and hostess.

After graduating from high school I decided to work in Austria as a ski instructor. Here I taught private and group lessons to children as well as adults. I enjoyed my work very much, even when it came with big responsibilities. I took the opportunity to improve my language skills and learned a lot about cooperating and communicating with clients and colleagues.

As a teenager I worked as a babysitter for several families with multiple children, ages varying from 0-6. For some parents I worked regularly, this gave me a great chance to build a relationship with their kids and make sure they would feel at ease. For me it was a fun way to learn about responsibilities and experience first contact with employers.
