We support our kids at home, in communities, and teach them independence, and communication skills for future success. Most of all we mentor positive choices, exploration of talents and interests and citizenship.

Working with children ages 5+ to adults introducing a new sport and lifestyle while creating lifelong connection with guests and representing the ideals of the resort. Lead classes on a regular basis with precision drills, fun games, and organization to improve alpine skills of all ages and abilities.

Yampa Valley Science School (YVSS) serves all of the Routt County sixth grade students each year by offering camp life, and environmental education through experiential and interactive lesson activities. Resource specialists are in charge of overseeing all curriculum operations, meeting school science standards for biology, conducting pre and post tests, training resource staff, and preparing supplies and materials.

Supervising and directing crews on technical trail and conservation projects, while monitoring safety and providing training when necessary; Plan, organize and facilitate daily environmental education lessons for assigned CYC members. Daily strive to meet and exceed the expectations of project sponsors in execution and quality while balancing the needs, attitude, and energy, of crew members.

Informing guests of specialty pricing, membership opportunities, events, and animal information, while efficiently and accurately completing transactions, cash reports, and printing membership cards. Monitoring guests entering the zoo for safety concerns, service animals, and crowd management for zoo concerts.

Coaching young athletes (ages 6-15) competing in Alpine Racing events including Super G, GS, and Slalom from a local hill known as Ski Bluewood, and summer training at Mt. Hood, Oregon.

Create supplemental lab work in accordance with Biology 170 course work. This was a new program that was created at Eastern Washington University under the supervision of Dr. Robin O’Quinn, and with the help of undergraduates like myself. I assisted with constructing labs, ordering supplies, set up, and take down. I was given my own group of 20+ students to lead in lab work, lab protocol, answer questions, and grade assignments/quizzes.

Worked in the Women's Department for 6 months and then was promoted to be a "buddy" and assist in training new employees on the floor. Quickly was promoted to Shoe Professional position, providing customers with product information, quality service, and fast/reliable responses to questions/requests.
