CurrentMaintain licensure as a Licensed Psychological Associate and receive supervision as needed and required by state guidelines. Maintain cultural competence and competence to support individuals and families who have experienced TBI and trauma, from a variety of backgrounds. Work in conjunction with entire clinical team across disciplines to provide quality services, coordinate with internal and external case managers as well as guardians and/or family members to address concerns, and provide external referrals when needed. Provide periodic updates to programming/treatment provided in team meetings every 6-12 months, or on emergent bases. Provide counseling and behavior support services for both outpatient and residential adult participants who have traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other mental health needs. Provide in-person and telehealth services for participants, including sessions that occurring in community settings. Implement counseling techniques included (but not limited to) cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, acceptance, dialectical behavioral, solution-focused, family systems, behavioral activation, and expressive art. Formulate treatment plans that are person-centered and individualized to meet the emotional, social, and functional needs of the participant. Provide crisis management and safety planning related to suicidality/self-harm, impulsive or risky behaviors, or other situations that are potentially harmful or unsafe for the participant.
