Administrative Assistant III- X78 CVN78 - Construction Supervision (Fleet Support) - Construction Supervision Team, Program Office Team, AWE (Advanced Weapons Elevators) Team, Propulsion Plant Team and Production TeamNewport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Virginia, November 2017 - Present Essential Responsibilities:Administrative functions (answering phones, filling, maintaining department logs, etc.)•Tracking all departmental Managers Calendars – organizing all major meetings events, coordination of refreshments and meals, booking conference rooms and maintaining schedules•Maintain all employee information to include but not limited to: Emergency Points of Contact, PC Coordination, Request IT’s, CUAS’s, Salaried Payroll Requests, Hourly Payroll Requests and Labor Cost Transfers, training courses, specialty accesses•Coordinate departmental vehicle maintenance, reservations• LX training reports, enrollments, cancellations and rescheduling•Back-up Storm Coordinator and Fire Evacuation representative•Assist in ordering of all pertinent forms needed for Production Team•Responsible for all new employees having proper equipment and work station prior to arrival•All travel arrangements through ADTRAV and Apptricity•Coordination of all pier maintenance•All supplies and special program needs (i.e. Advanced Weapons Elevators)•All 5S safety corrections•Responsible for Warrior Of the Week recognition's and preparations with Ship’s Force
